This page sets out the terms and conditions on which Van Arthur supplies products and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Ordering

Orders can be placed online through our website. Simply add items to your basket and proceed to checkout.

We accept most major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express. Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

We also accept cash payments in-store.

We do not normally accept payments over the phone, but we are able to take orders and send over a secure payment link.

Orders cancelled online, by phone, or by email are subject to a £6.95 cancellation fee.

An order confirmation email indicates that your order has been received, not that a contract exists. A contract is formed when payment is processed and accepted. If an error in pricing or availability occurs, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed.
Delivery

Orders received before 4pm Monday to Friday for local delivery will usually be delivered the same day (if same-day si selected), but this is not guaranteed. If same-day delivery is not possible, your order will be delivered on the next working day.

Deliveries requested for a public holiday will be delivered on the next working day.

Deliveries are available in the UK only.

Timed delivery slots are not available, except for funeral and wedding orders. You may include delivery requests in the comments box at checkout, and we will do our best to accommodate, but this is not guaranteed.

If the recipient is not at home:

We may leave the flowers with a neighbour (if they agree).

A calling card will be left with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collection.

If redelivery is required, this will be arranged at our discretion.

Van Arthur is not responsible for theft or damage if flowers are left unattended at your request.

For specific flower requests, please contact us at least 24 hours before delivery.
VAT
All online prices include VAT at the current UK rate of 20%.
Returns and Refunds
Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If your flowers arrive in poor condition, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 1 day of delivery. A replacement or refund will be arranged.

We may request a photo of the flowers as proof of condition.

If your flowers do not last a reasonable length of time (usually 7 days, subject to proper care), please contact us. We provide care instructions and flower food with every order, and these must be followed. In the event of premature wilting or damage, we will offer a replacement or store credit depending on the circumstances.

Refunds and replacements are handled promptly and fairly — our goal is always customer satisfaction.
Security
When you place an order through our website, payment details are encrypted and securely processed by Strioe. We do not store payment card details.

We take your privacy seriously. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your personal information.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
